Camp Gratitude: A Morning of Thankfulness and Joy is a three-hour camp, crafted for kids ages 6-12 to embrace gratitude in a fun and engaging way. This heartwarming mini-camp offers activities that inspire kids to reflect on what they’re thankful for, share kindness with others, and bring joy into the holiday season.

Camp Overview:

During our time together, campers will:

1. Decorate and Fill Gratitude Jars – Each child will personalize a jar to fill with notes of things they’re grateful for, creating a special keepsake they can continue adding to throughout the season.
2. Gratitude Scavenger Hunt – Campers will explore the space to find objects and places that make them feel happy, safe, or excited. At each stop, they’ll write or draw what they’re thankful for on a notecard, adding these to their gratitude jars.
3. Create a Gratitude Tree – Together, campers will decorate a tree with colorful paper leaves, each displaying something they’re thankful for. The tree grows as kids add more leaves, becoming a beautiful symbol of gratitude for everyone to see.
4. Kindness Rocks – Kids will paint small rocks with messages of gratitude, positivity, or fun designs. They can keep their rocks as personal reminders of thankfulness or leave them in the community as a surprise gift for someone to find.
5. Gratitude Relay Races – In a lively relay race, kids will work in teams to reach stations with prompts like “Name a friend you’re grateful for” or “Think of a favorite memory.” They’ll take turns sharing responses, keeping the energy high while reflecting on their blessings.
6. Close with a Gratitude Circle – We’ll end our time together with a reflection circle, where each child can share something they’re grateful for, helping everyone see and celebrate the good things in their lives.
